How did I start having fun with balls of yarn again?
A few years ago, I saw a crocheted handbag on the Internet and thought I could make one like it. Looking for the necessary material, I came across a small shop in Lugano run by a very helpful elderly lady. She advised me on the yarn, the right crochet hook and, most importantly, showed me the basic stitches, as it had been almost 40 years since I had last crocheted. At home I drew a sketch and, after a thousand trials and a few months of work, here is the finished bag.
